Dry, hazy and cold week in the foothills. Old snow hanging around from the last storm a few weeks ago. Patchy on south facing slopes. Pounded down to a slick icy sheet on the water tank road. It was a good day to be wearing spiked running shoes made by screwing hex head sheet metal screws into an old pair. No wildlife seen this week. Saw 4-5 people and a couple dogs though. Shin splint keep this to a 1 running day week. Ibuprofin working just fine though.
